Wellness FAQs: Addressing Common Concerns and Regulatory Disclaimers

Navigating the world of natural wellness often comes with questions, especially regarding safety, legality, and effectiveness. At Hempress Wellness, transparency and education are core to our mission, so we’ve gathered answers to some of the most common concerns.

1. FAQs About Safety & Use

Yes. Products containing the foundational plant compounds sold at Hempress Wellness are compliant with federal regulations. We require all brands to adhere to strict guidelines regarding the sourcing and compound levels in their products.
The products sold on our site are derived from plants and are generally non-psychoactive. They are not intended to induce the “high” commonly associated with other plant counterparts. Products that are Broad Spectrum are specifically processed to remove any detectable traces of the psychoactive compound.
While our Broad Spectrum and Zero THC products have been processed to remove detectable traces of the compound that causes the “high,” trace amounts can sometimes still be present in Full Spectrum formulas. We recommend consulting with your employer or regulatory body before using any Full Spectrum product if you are subject to drug testing.

This depends entirely on the delivery method (the Science of Absorption):

  • Tinctures (Oils): Placing drops under the tongue allows for fast absorption and quicker onset.
  • Edibles/Softgels: These take longer (30–90 minutes) as they must pass through the digestive system, but the effects last longer.
  • Topicals: Provide immediate, localized relief.
We always recommend the “Start Low and Go Slow” method. Begin with the lowest serving size and maintain that dose for a full week before assessing and gradually increasing. Consistency is key to finding your optimal dosage.

2. Regulatory Disclaimers
